Entries into the junior category should not exceed 1,000 words, while the senior category should not exceed 1,500 words. Also, in line with SystemSpecs committment to encouraging ingenuity, the company has indicated that all essays must reflect participants’ original ideas, be devoid of plagiarism, and written in English.

According to SystemSpecs’ Head of Corporate Services, Oluwasegun Adesanya, “The schools with top entries in the junior and senior categories would be rewarded with high capacity computers and an end-to-end payment, collections and funds management system to boost their capacity for technology-led education.”

Adesanya also stated that the top three individual winners in both categories will be rewarded with prizes that include laptops and free uLesson Coding School certificate courses, as well as monthly 40GB Internet data for a year. They will also gain automatic admission to the SystemSpecs’ National Summer Coding Camp.
