CANADA VISA FOR ICELAND CITIZENS

Citizens of 53 countries, including Iceland, can visit Canada without a visa for short-term travel using a Canadian eTA (Electronic Travel Authorization). The Canadian government implemented the eTA in 2015 to expedite admission into the nation, minimize long lineups at the border, and strengthen security inspections. CANADIAN ETA REQUIREMENTS FOR ICELANDIC CITIZENS

• Candidates must have an electronic and machine-readable Icelandic passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of entering Canada.
• E-mail address – you need to provide a valid address because the ETA confirmation is sent via e-mail in PDF format. While the ETA is electronically linked to your passport and you do not have to hold a physical copy, most people prefer to print one out, just in case.

Irish citizens are one of the nationalities who can apply for an eTA online. To make it easier to secure a visa waiver, Canada has introduced the Canadian Electronic Travel Authorization, often known as the Canadian eTA or Canadian Tourist Visa Waiver. All bearers of Irish passports are legally required to have a Canadian visa or visa waiver in order to enter Canada. Irish citizens can use the same approved eTA to enter Canada without a visa for 5 years or until the passport expires. The Canadian eTA from Ireland can only be applied for online to obtain an electronic visa waiver electronically linked to that of the traveler passport, eliminating the need to apply for a visa in person at an embassy or consulate.

CANADIAN ETA REQUIREMENTS FOR IRISH CITIZENS

• The traveler’s passport must be an Irish e-passport (bio-metric passport). It is recommended to have at least 6 months of validity in the passport.
• A valid form of payment – Applicants will need to have a valid form of payment, such as a debit or credit card, to pay the eTA application fees.
• A valid Email address in order to finalize the application and receive communication regarding its approval or otherwise.

CANADA VISA FOR LIECHTENSTEIN CITIZENS

Liechtenstein citizens can apply for a Canada e-Visa online. In response to growing terrorist activity around the world, the eTA program was established in 2016 to screen international travelers. For short-term travel to Canada for general tourist, business, transit, or medical purposes, Liechtenstein citizens should apply for a Canada eTA visa. Liechtenstein citizens, like many other nationalities, do not require a visa to visit Canada for a limited time. However, if you are flying, you must first apply for a Canadian ETA. Typically, the stays last 180 days. Any Liechtenstein citizen who wishes to enter Canada for a period longer than 90 days or for purposes other than those approved under the eTA programme must apply for a different visa. The document you receive is valid for 5 years or until your passport expires, whichever comes first. You can enter Canada multiple times and stay there for up to 6 months per visit. The electronic travel authorization is available online and can be obtained in just 30 minutes.

Requirements of Canada Visa for Liechtensteiner citizens

CANADA VISA FOR LUXEMBOURG CITIZENS

The Canadian government developed eTA (Electronic Travel authorisation) in 2015, a new screening tool that allows tourists to receive a travel authorisation without contacting an embassy or consulate. Eligible citizens from more than 50 countries, including Luxembourg, can apply for the eTA Canada for visa-free stays of up to 90 days. Luxembourg citizens may apply for an eTA Canada if their stay is for tourism or leisure, business travel such as attending conferences and meetings, medical advice or treatment, or transiting through Canada en route to another international location. The Canadian eTA is also meant for visitors who will be in Canada for less than six months. Because the travel authorization is valid for 5 years, visitors can make multiple entries during this period as long as each trip is less than 3 months. Luxembourg citizens traveling or relocating to Canada to work, study or move to Canada must apply for a Canada visa in Luxembourg. CANADA VISA FOR MALTA CITIZENS

Maltese nationals, like all other citizens of the European Union, do not need a visa to visit Canada. All they have to do is apply for a Canadian ETA. An ETA is an electronic travel authorization that allows certain nationalities to visit Canada without the need for a visa from an embassy. Canada adopted the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) system in 2015, allowing eligible citizens to visit Canada by completing a brief online form prior to departure. Maltese citizens must apply for a Canada eTA visa to enter Canada on a short-term basis for general tourist, business, transit, or medical purposes. As long as you have your Canadian ETA, you can stay for 180 days each entry. This document expires 5 years after it is issued or until the passport expires.
