Professional Psych Seminars to Host Informative Continuing Education Seminar for Mental Health Professionals

This live seminar entitled Law and Ethics: Client Warfare and Therapist Responsibility will be held May 8 in Glendale, California.

Thousand Oaks, CA, USA – The live seminar on Law & Ethics will be held at the Los Angeles/Glendale Embassy Suites (800 N. Central Ave.). The seminar will be taught by Pamela Harmell Ph.D., a national lecturer who specializes in legal and ethical issues in clinical practice settings. She is currently a professor at the Pepperdine University Graduate School of Education and Psychology. She is also the past President of the California Board of Psychology, former Chair of the California State Ethics Committee and the current Co-chair of the Los Angeles County Psychological Association Ethics Committee.

The Law and Ethics: Client Welfare and Therapist Responsibility seminar focuses on the important therapist responsibility for ensuring that patients are safe in the clinical environment. Participants will learn how to deal with ethical dilemmas such as conflicts with values, boundary violations, suicidal clients, ethical care with technology and social media and also the duty to warn and to protect. The one-day live seminar costs $209 for early registration (3 weeks before the seminar) and $229 for regular registration.
